O'Reilly our 15 year old cat passed on June 19. Arrangements were made with Pet Angel in Pinellas Park the same day. They did pick him up from the vet's office at the time that was promised. From there, is complete disaster. When my wife went to pick up O'Reilly, she was given a bag with O'Reilly stamped on it. While I'm driving home, my wife is going thru the contents of the package we paid for. The Urn with the ashes had Bonnie Wilson printed on it. The cremation papers had BONNIE" printed on. Then she pulled out this little baggie with about three dozen fleas inside it, and crawling around some light brown hair. O'Reilly's hair was as black as night. When we return, my wife is given another bag with O'Reilly stamped on it. We got no hair lockett this time, but did manage to receive articles that actually had our cats name printed on, even though the name was spelled incorrectly. The next day she calls and asks why she didn't receive the lockett of hair as described in the brochure. Now remember, the paw print, lockett of hair, remains in a urn and cremation papers are all inclusive with the price. The employee asks my wife if she requested the hair. My wife says, I paid for it didn't I? I will not recommend anyone use this facility at Pinellas Park. Way too many issues leaving one to only hope you receive your loved ones remains and not someone else's. I had to give 1 star, because the comment would not post.

  • This place is a blessing to have when you lose a pet. It is hard to rate a place of morbidity but they were very friendly and sensitive to our loss. They let you say your final good byes in a private funeral parlor type room, loaded with tissues.

You are never prepared to pick out a "package" so it is on the spur of the moment and based on emotions.

It takes a couple days to get your cremation remains back. When I went to pick up our dog's remains, I could see the heat coming out of the oven's chimneys which was a bit creepy.

All in all, for such a lousy situation, they did everything professional and in the best way possible.

  • My beloved Max was picked up from the vets office after suffering through 2 surgeries and 5 days trying to recover from a vicious animal attack. He succumb to his injuries. I didn't pick Pet Angel, I believe it's the service the vets office uses...but I couldn't have picked a better place myself. Very professional, the garden in the middle is tranquil and peaceful. The staff has their heart in their service and I want to thank them from the bottom of mine and my family's heart. What an important part of the grieving process...

  • My cat of 17 years past a few months ago. The staff here are incredibly compassionate and professional, especially when picking up my fur baby from my home after her departure. Their facility is also beautiful when I went to pick up my cat's ashes.
